Do It Yourself Wedding Decorations, What and Where to Buy or Rent

Love this from Pinterest- cheap wedding deco!
Mason jar candles for a rustic wedding.
DIY Bride? Here is the bare minimum of supplies that you'll need to purchase or rent if you intend to decorate for your own wedding:

For the ceremony:

White folding chairs. Can be found at local party rental place, such as Drake's Rentals.
White runner. Not sure but ask the same rental place where you get the chairs.
Wedding arch. Can purchase or rent, also see rental place and my Amazon store.
White or ivory tulle, for draping over the wedding arch. Can purchase at Michael's, or try my Amazon online store.
Silk flowers and foliage. Visit Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc.

For the wedding hall:

White twinkling lights. Buy at Michael's, Walmart, Amazon, or another retailer.
White paper lanterns. Try Hobby Lobby or Amazon

Tablecloths. These should be supplied by the wedding venue.
Chair covers. Supplied by the wedding venue.
Candles - real or smokeless battery powered. I would try Ebay or Amazon
Glass candle holders, bowl or other style. Also try Ebay or Amazon.

For the sweetheart table:

White or ivory tulle. Can purchase at Michael's, or try my Amazon online store.
Cake cutter and server. Maybe Party City? Or Amazon.
Bride and Groom champagne flutes (my friend Laura hand paints these as a special wedding gift), otherwise try any retail store.

Other items of interest, such as a Wedding Guestbook, paper invitations, thank-you cards, table cards, etc. can be found at any Michael's, Staples, or at my Amazon online store.

NOTE: The Amazon store links here and on the Bling and Swag page contain my affiliate ID. If you purchase wedding supplies there, you will be supporting this blog with a small percentage that I can earn from the sale. I appreciate it very much!
