Love the idea of a creating a cookbook of family recipes as
a wedding shower gift for the bride?
Sad that you don't have available hours to manage this
time-intensive project? Or are you just not technically inclined?
No worries! NJ Wedding on a Budget offers Tastebook editing/management
services. I have experience working in their platform, having created a
Tastebook for my sister in law's wedding gift. I am also a copywriter and
editor by profession.
I can help you put together a beautiful and sentimental
cookbook gift to thrill any foodie bride!
How it works:
We talk. You and I (or whoever will be in charge of the
cookbook project) chat by email to discuss details like due date, availability
of photos from family and friends, number of recipes, timeline and fee.
You determine who will be managing what. Depending on your
budget and other factors, you may decide that you would prefer to upload all
the recipes and photos, but would appreciate my professional help with editing
for grammar, spelling and consistency. You may also need someone to help
organize the cookbook prior to printing time. I can do that.
The project begins. You provide a login and password (I can
always create one on my own if you prefer this, and give you the login). You
kick off the gathering and entering of info. I jump in where necessary. We
check in periodically via email, exchanging ideas or adding content as needed.
We wrap things up. I let you know when the final stage is
approaching. We work together to fill in any missing information, add photos,
move sections around, select a cover, and prepare to print.
Go to print. I walk you through the pre-print checklist and
you make final creative decisions. You order however many copies you'd like to
have printed. Your Tastebook arrives by mail. It's beautiful. You give to the
bride and/or family and friends at the wedding shower. Everyone cries.
